Stan: Thanks for your article "No Bucks-No Bigfoot" I have never been one who worshiped the wisdom of the scientific community. Their smug and parochial attitudes have forestalled many a scientific discovery through the years. And now it seems they are doing the same with the question of Bigfoot, Sasquatch, etc. Except for a few brave souls like Dr. Meldrum and others, the bulk of so-called scientists would rather ignore the obvious than question some of their long held beliefs. To me this is no science, but rather the status quo. You and those like you are acting more like scientists than the scientists themselves by going into the field and observing rather than pontificating from a college campus. They should truly be embarrassed that lay people are leading the way in what could be one of the great discoveries of the century. As much as I would like to think they will come to their senses, experience tells me otherwise. But rest assured there will be a day when proof positive appears and the scientific community will have to explain why they were so far behind the learning curve on this. In the meantime, realize many people do appreciate your efforts and personal investment of time and resources. And credit for this discover will most definitely go to you and those like you. Thanks for all you've done and will do. Les Hauser

Buck up!

Don't forget that "time" is a factor! Humanity is indebted to many people who pioneered research in areas socially unaccepted during their times. We know now the Earth is not flat.

It is simply fact that there are people who definitely know that there is a large primate living in the wilds of North America. Seeing is believing; the number of credible eyewitness coming forth publicly is increasing by leaps and bounds.

Time will bring in the "big bucks", as the number of people who know about the Bigfoot phenomenon will reach that "critical mass" that it takes for public acceptance of this illusive great Ape who lives among us.

In the meanwhile, the pioneers need to keep on plugging away. We can keep refining our efforts, our methods, and our equipment, and courageously continue to educate the ignorant.

Patience is the virtue we must hone. Moreover, as a friend of mine pointed out to me...contrary to common thinking, patience is active ...not passive, it is concentrated strength.

For myself, and for countless other invisible to you people who follow your work, I thank-you for your numerous unpaid hours of effort, and for all those capitol outlays you have taken on yourself in the process of developing infant Bigfoot research. Someday, I am sure, others will look back and see you as one of the pioneers of the field.

Thank-You,
