As I’ve mentioned before, this particular topic used to give me the heebee jeebees. Idon’t know what it was about it for certain, but something about mixing the two subjects really didn’t sit well with me. Now, of course, it’s just one of many things about bigfoot that will draw my interest. Lately I’ve been looking for accounts of bigfoot and UFOs together, and I’ve come up with precious little. I’ve seen various accounts of bigfoot being seen in an area where UFOs have been seen also. There are actually plenty of these. And there are certain accounts, such as that depicted in The Hunt of the Skinwalker, that seem to indicate bigfoot-like creatures are involved in areas where UFOs are supposedly mutilating animals and causing trouble for people in various ways. These are strange cases that really set a towering ceiling for “high strangeness”.

I don’t really have a well thought out post here for this topic. I’m still in an information gathering phase. But I thought I’d point you toward some interesting links that speak to this issue.

The first is a post at UFO Digest from April of 2008 by Regan Lee, which discusses bigfoot in relation to high strangeness which seemed to be part of a UFO contact story. Here is a post which I think reprints an article by Donald Worley from a 1992 UFO Magazine. Another link comes from UFO Media Matters from January of this year. I’ve also run across a series of posts at The Big Study (look around for severalmore). But I’ve not run across many cases that combine UFOs and bigfoot directly, with one famous exception of the Uniontown case I’ve mentioned here before. So has anything come up elsewhere on this that I haven’t seen yet? Let me know in the comments if you have run across something.
