What Is That? Right Behind That tree?

The food drop (image taken during the summer).

In March of 2007 I placed my recorder near my food drop. My hope was that some animal would vocalize as it approached and took food which I periodically left out. This is an area that sees almost no human intruders other than an occasional deer hunter. Being late winter there were no leaves on the trees and brush in the area. I tried to hide my recorder but it was impossible to hide it completely.

The following recording was at 03:35 a.m.

“The locals” are there! Or….or as mainstream science would classify them……unknown primate…….

Stan on chatter 2 I hear two sets of separate and distinct repetitive click patterns. I did not realize you had recorded similar sounds to those I have been picking up associated with unknown vocals and animal-like sounds. Don’t know how I’ve missed this in the past. Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Think Snow!

This is a very interesting recording, and the repetitive click patterns mentioned above seems to be a feature of some other sasquatch recordings too. I hope you try some more recording at this location
